What can I expect on my first visit?
The first visit will last 1 hour and will include a thorough assessment. This includes asking questions about your condition and then a physical examination. After this the problem will be discussed and a treatment programme planned.
How long will a follow up visit last?
Further visits will last half an hour.
What should I wear?
For examination of the lower limb it is best to wear shorts. For a neck condition it will be necessary to remove all upper body clothing apart from a bra for ladies, and for a lower back condition it is best to be examined in underwear alone. This is so that the spine can be thoroughly examined. Of course if you are not happy to undress clothing can be kept on.
By what method can I pay?
The clinic can take cash or cheques.
Where can I park?
There is ample free parking outside the clinic.
Do I need to be referred for treatment?
No you can refer yourself for Physiotherapy. If you are using health-insurance to fund your treatment you may need to be referred by your GP.
What if I decide it's not for me or I don't like the treatment?
You are under no obligation to have or to continue treatment. Just let us know and we can discuss the way forward for you individually.

What qualifications do the physiotherapists have?
All the physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy which is the governing body for physiotherapy and all are registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). The practice is fully insured.
Do you communicate with my doctor?
If your GP has referred you for physiotherapy then at an appropriate time, maybe during or at the end of treatment, a letter is sent to the GP. If you are a self-referral you will be asked if you would like a letter sent to your doctor.
Do you have provision for disabled customers?
Yes - there is a small ramp for entry through wide doors. There is a disabled toilet. We do not have a hoist
